Thirty-Year Insurance Industry Veteran Will Lead Forethought’s Operations, IT and HR Functions
Indianapolis, IN — May 17, 2010 — Forethought Financial Group, Inc. (Forethought) a leading provider of insurance and financial products focused on the over-50 market, today announced the appointment of 30-year industry veteran Tom Burkhard as executive vice president and chief administrative officer.
Burkhard, who will be based in Forethought’s corporate headquarters in Indianapolis, will lead the company’s operations, information technology and human resources functions.
Prior to joining Forethought, Burkhard’s previous leadership roles include serving as CEO of AIG Star Life insurance company in Japan, executive vice president of American General Life in Houston, and COO of AIG Life Operations in Japan and Korea.
