Zenith Marketing Group hires John J. Dugan, Jr. as Vice President of Business Development

Zenith Marketing Group, with offices in Freehold, NJ; Charlotte, NC; York, PA; and Wayne, PA announces the addition of John J. Dugan, Jr. as Vice President of Business Development. In this new role, Mr. Dugan will utilize his broad sales and training experience to develop new venues of sales distribution, implement the appropriate training for marketing and sales initiatives, and manage the internal sales desk for Zenith Marketing Group. He will be based in Zenith Marketing Group’s Freehold, NJ office.
Having spent the past 22 years in the life insurance industry, John’s vast knowledge across all product lines including individual life, annuities, long-term care, disability and linked-benefit products will benefit Zenith Marketing’s personal producers and institutional accounts by incorporating his expert training processes within the Zenith Learning Network.
John’s experience in the life insurance industry has come in various capacities. Starting as a producer with Nationwide Provident Insurance Company he achieved top producer status every year. He continued his personal production success when he joined UBS/PaineWebber in 2001 as a Financial Advisor where he not only brought a strong life insurance exposure to the firm, but also became an in-house coach and trainer for new and experienced financial advisors.
John later joined the Practice Management Group of MetLife where he managed the Top Advisor Development Program and the Top Advisor Business Coaching Program where he created succession planning strategies for financial advisors, and refined the process and delivery of learning and development education for top advisors.
Most recently, John served with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney as a Vice President and National Development Officer in the FAA Selection and Development Group located in the National Training Center in Warren Township, New Jersey.
John is a graduate of Seton Hall University and has a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.
