Nelson Levine Adds Leading Insurance Executive To Regulatory Team

NEW YORK – Leading insurance law firm Nelson Levine announced today that Maureen Adolf, a former senior insurance executive with Prudential Financial, has joined the firm. As the Senior Vice President of the firm’s Government Relations Practice, Maureen will advise clients on insurance regulatory issues and related corporate business practices, and compliance. Maureen will also assist clients to effectively frame issues for regulators and offer insight to the pending changes in insurance regulation at the state, federal and international levels.
At Prudential, Maureen served as Corporate Vice President in the External Affairs Department where she led multiple policy initiatives, developed legislative strategies, and engaged in regulatory negotiations, lobbying, coalition building and industry relations. Maureen also directed legislative and political programs, and engaged in state, federal and international regulatory issues.

In addition to her work with the firm, Maureen is President-Elect and a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Financial Women’s Association. She was also selected to participate in JumpStart NYC, a program through the State University of New York’s Levin Institute, where she advised an IT firm on interacting and conducting business with government agencies. Maureen will also participate on Nelson Levine’s Executive Board.
