  • Actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley Takes On New Role To Help Families Make Smart Insurance Decisions

    KANSAS CITY, Mo., April 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — The National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) today announced a new partnership with actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley as part of its Insure U consumer education campaign. The partnership highlights Williams-Paisley’s experiences coping with her mother’s battle with primary progressive aphasia, a form a dementia with no treatment or cure. The unexpected diagnosis led her family down a challenging and heart-wrenching path, culminating in the decision to move her mother into long-term care. Through this partnership, the NAIC and Williams-Paisley hope to share the importance of proper insurance planning.

    Actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley records a PSA as part of her partnership with the National Association of Insurance Commissioners. The partnership highlights Williams-Paisley's experiences coping with her mother's battle with dementia. Upon learning of her diagnosis, the family did not know where to turn or who to trust. Through this partnership, the NAIC and Williams-Paisley hope to spread the word about the NAIC's unbiased insurance resources for all life stages on InsureUOnline.org.
