    How This Role Contributes To Brighthouse Financial

    The Annuity Marketing Associate supports the commercialization of the Brighthouse Financial suite of fixed and income annuity products. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, content and collateral (digital and print) creation, activation, digital selling platform monitoring & enhancement, campaign development, audience segmentation and marketing effectiveness tracking. The ideal candidate will project manage and support campaigns that drive preference for Brighthouse fixed and income annuity products among producers while tracking changes and trends in engagement across distribution channels and within firms. In addition, the Associate will support senior team members in content creation, campaign activation, and meeting coordination, when necessitated by workload.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Create and maintain engaging content meant to drive preference for the fixed and income annuity products by highlighting the competitive advantages, rate-based differentiation, and simplification of complex concepts and features.
    • Analyze and report on the effectiveness of digital selling platform and marketing campaigns against business objectives and lead implementation of recommendations.
    • Build programs that build brand awareness, increase engagement, drive lead generation, strengthen wholesaler-producer business relationships and ultimately lead to an increase in sales.
    • Develop timely communications and campaigns that capitalize on competitive advantages.
    • Coordinate and execute on marketing campaigns and tactics with internal departments such as product, national sales office, distribution, and strategic relationship managers.
    • Leverage market research and business judgment to develop marketing strategies that help increase category awareness and grow product sales.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned or required.

    Essential Business Experience And Technical Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related discipline preferred.
    • 1+ yrs. relevant business experience.
    • Current FINRA series 6 license or the ability to obtain within 6 months of start date.
    • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
    • Ability to learn complex products like annuities and to contribute to innovative marketing tactics and concepts (while navigating a highly regulated industry).
    • Experience with marketing communications through a variety of marketing channels (e.g., email, direct mail, social, digital, call center).
    • Emerging project management skills – scoping of timelines, scheduling, follow up, and delivery within expected timeframes.
    • Knowledge of financial services industry, products, services, and sales culture preferred.
    • Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills.
    • Proven analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
